Residential for ages 8-16 NOT RUNNING IN 2012
This course is available for both independent students and group bookings
The residential Study Holiday courses are available to students of all levels. Lessons encourage English communication in and out of the classroom by covering a range of relevant topics. These topics reflect the interests, lives and experiences of young learners by incorporating film, music and mini-projects to provide a fun context for learning.
Younger learners are encouraged to develop their imagination through adventure and exploration. They are offered more of a visual stimulus and teachers design lessons to engage and encourage younger minds.
The teachers use a more communicative approach in lessons with the aim of task completion and language development. Classes aim to be multi-lingual and students interact in pairs and small groups to grow in confidence as well as ability. Lessons are designed to maximise opportunities for negotiation and information-sharing in a student-centred environment.
